What can FoldSuite do?
It can merge Excel and CSV files with different column names, select worksheets, remove duplicates, normalize dates, split a master sheet, compare two versions, review conflicts, and export a new workbook or ZIP.
Does FoldSuite upload spreadsheet files?
No. Spreadsheet files, filenames, worksheet names, column names, and cell values are processed locally and are not sent to FoldSuite servers. Optional anonymous counters contain only the action type, language, broad file-count range, and broad row-count range.
Which formats are supported?
The current version supports XLSX, XLS, and CSV. It does not currently edit Word documents, PDFs, JSON files, password-protected workbooks, or damaged workbooks.
Which formatting is preserved?
Common fonts, fills, borders, alignment, and number formats can be preserved. Images, charts, macros, conditional formatting, formulas themselves, and merged-cell layouts may not survive the conversion.
Who is it for?
FoldSuite is designed for people who receive monthly exports, branch reports, CRM lists, finance tables, or operational spreadsheets that need to be combined, separated, or reconciled without sharing the source data.
